Description

Painted in Photoshop. A photo of my neice taken by me was used as a reference for the girl. This took a few hours (can't remember exactly how much).

very lovely -nod- you did a good job with the expression, but it looks like you painted the background in last. (there's a halo around her.)

next time, if you DO paint in the background last, paint it all the way up to her hair and even past it, then paint the hair over it again... that'll kill the glow.

Very nice indeed, I like the cloth a lot, but the ear seems quite undetailed and also too big. Otherwise, keep it up!

I think she's beautiful, indeed. Her ear doesn't look too big (i draw them bigger!) but it does look unfinished compared to the rest of the piece. The detail in that fabric is amazing!

Saw this over at epilogue. I agree with the other comments, this has some very nice shading and lighting to her face and in the piece overall. The hills and forest in the background made me think of Cerin Amroth in Lorien for some reason. Nice work
